VISITOR POLICY

Visitors are welcome. However, all visitors must sign in at the school office. Parents may observe in classrooms for thirty minutes by rearrangement with the teacher or the main office. Teachers will be informed in advance of visitors for an extended period of time. Due to the increased demand for school tours, short term visitors will be allowed to observe only in selected classes or programs. Call the School Coordinator, Greta Ramsey, at (713) 713-654-1400 to arrange for a tour.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

A tour and parent/child intake (orientation) are required for admission to all programs. Tours are provided Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Intake may be scheduled with the secretary. Intake entails completing required enrollment/financial forms, submitting immunization records, meeting child's teacher, orientation of policies, procedures, curriculum, and answering any questions. ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

A tour and parent/child intake (orientation) are required for admission to all programs. The following documents are needed at the time of registration for elementary school. Students will no be officially enrolled until all have been received.

  1. WITHDRAWAL SHEET - A copy of the check-out sheet from forwarding school. (If within same school year)

  2. REPORT CARD - A copy of latest report card from forwarding school.

  3. BIRTH CERTIFICATE

  4. PROOF OF RESIDENCE - Light, Gas, or Water bill will be accepted ONLY. If recently moved, Lease agreement or Homeowner's proof is sufficient (including Approved Transfer students).

  5. PICTURE ID OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN

  6. SOCIAL SECURITY CARD - Must see actual card.

  7. IMMUNIZATION RECORD - Update with the following.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

(1) DPT/DT

Children 5yrs. - 4 doses required, with last dose after 15 months.

Children 5 - 7yrs. - 4 doses required with last dose after age 4.

Children 5 - 11yrs. - 3 doses required with last dose after age 4.

 

(2) POLIO

Children 5yrs. - 3 doses required at any age.

Children 5 - 11yrs. - 3 doses required with last dose since age 4.

 

(3) RUBELLA (GERMAN MEASLES) & MUMPS

Children 5yrs. - 2 doses with last dose on or after first birthday.

Children 5 - 11yrs. - 2 doses required given at any age.

 

(4) MEASLES (RUBEOLA)

 

(5) HIB (hemophilus influenza Type B)

Children 5yrs.ONLY - 1 dose required, given between age 15 months and 4 years.
